きらきらレースとは、きらきら糸とレーヨン糸を拠り合わせた糸で作ったレースで金管楽器を思わせるような
ゴールドとシルバーの色にこだわりオリジナルで開発した糸で刺繍したレースです。
染色もでき、好みの色に染められます。ラメも飛ばず、日本らしい繊細な輝きのレースです。

Kyowa:Kyowa’s designer draws your design.
You(customer): If you agree on the price and the design, Kyowa will make a sample lace. (You can change the design)
Kyowa: Makes the Sample Lace.
You(customer): Look over it and check it. If you are pleased with the Sample Lace, request Kyowa to make it
Kyowa: Produces the Lace and delivers it to you.

Order Lace
アトリエピエロさんの商品に使用したものです。
This is Atelier Pierrot’s product. It’s the attached order lace.
レースができるまで(1)
デザイン・・・デザイナーが原寸大の刺繍デザインを制作する。
製図・・・模様が６倍の製図に拡大され刺繍糸の動きまでも克明に書く。
Design・・・A designer draws an embroidery design of the actual size.
Draft・・・A design is magnified 6 times of the actual size and decides the order in which the needles will be punched.
レースができるまで(2)
パンチング・・・出来上がった製図に従って、パンチング機でカードに孔を開ける。実物どおりの大きさの見本が刺繍されていき、カードにはひと縫い毎の運針量が自動的に計算されてでてきます。
刺繍・・・エンブロイダリー機で刺繍をする。全長が14mから20m、高さは3.5mから4.5mもあり、刺繍針の本数は1000本以上にも及ぶ巨大な刺繍機です。
Punching・・・According to the draft, a card is made by a Punching machine in which the order the needles should be punched show how the embroidery design is made .
Embroidery・・・Embroidery machine has a total length of 14meters to 20meters and the height of 3.5meters to 4.5meters.It has about 1000 needles.

補修・・・刺繍された模様に糸切れや柄抜け等あるかどうかを厳密に検査し、欠点があった場合、手動ミシンで細心の注意と高度の技術で丁寧に補修されます。手作業で丁寧に仕上げます。
シャーリング・・・生地に残った不要な糸を取り除きます。
Repair・・・After the lace is completed ,technicians check it very strictly. If there is something wrong, technicians repair it carefully by a sewing machine.
Shirring・・・ It remove unnecessary threads.
レースができるまで(4)
加工・・・用途に応じて漂白、染色されます。
カッティング・・・用途に合わせて断裁します。スカラップに沿って高速度のカッティング機でカットます。
Process・・・You have the option of having it bleached or dyed (or both)if you choose to.
Cutting・・・You can request to have it cut the way you want it.

1923年にドイツから日本にエンブロイダリー機が230台来ました。現状日本ではレースをつくる工場も減っているため、日本製のレースを作るのは貴重になっています。
